About our Bands
Choose from jazz and swing bands of all sizes to rock bands and covers bands for all types of events!
A professional band are able to vary the type of music that they play and will strive to provide 'something for everybody', i.e. the same type of music for an entire evening will probably keep only a small proportion of your guests adequately entertained! Covers Bands like CELEBRATION will get everyone up on the floor. Contemporary band LITTLE BRISBANE will perform the latest songs for you, while THE BAZKATZ will set a cool and sophisticated atmosphere, and CRAIG MARTIN & HIS SWING BAND will have everyone listening and dancing to the great hits of the crooners.
The vast majority of our bands can provide live instrumental music for the pre wedding breakfast or a drinks reception. Packages available - Combine a smaller cocktail duo and one of our bands for appropriate music throughout the event. Please contact us for package quotes.
At a pre arranged time usually about 1.5 hours before start time the band will set up their equipment with the minimum of fuss, requiring nothing more than adequate space and a mains plug socket.
A minimum of 45 minutes to set up and sound check their equipment making sure that their levels are correct for the room should suit most bands.
Most bands will provide anything from 2 x 45 minute to 3 x 1 hour sets (depending on the individual bands) of music during the evening
Our bands are able to keep the atmosphere alive by providing iPod quality music suitable for the event during any breaks - anything from classical to a 'mini disco' - giving you a DJ like feel to breaks later in the evening.
